CERTIFIED SPORTS MANAGER
SPECIALIZATION
The Collegiate Sports Academy (CSA) Certified Sports Manager (CSM) program includes trade specializations because the sports industry depends on professionals with practical, career-ready skills beyond traditional sports management. Each specialization allows students to develop expertise in a specific trade or workforce area—such as coaching, fitness, facility maintenance, marketing, media, event operations, automotive services, or travel and tourism—while learning the business principles of sports management. This unique model prepares graduates for multiple career pathways, increases their employment opportunities, and equips them to manage, operate, or own businesses that support the growing sports industry.
