Student Life: Beyond the Classroom

At our sports trade school, education isn't just about mastering a craft—it's about building the foundation for a successful life and career. The Student Life  is dedicated to enriching your school experience by connecting you with a vibrant community, peer mentors, and professional development opportunities.

We bridge the gap between technical training and real-world leadership, ensuring you graduate not just job-ready, but industry-ready.

employment training

Collegiate Sports Academy engages its students in helping operate the youth and adult league through a paid job-training opportunity that promotes job readiness while fostering mentoring and leadership development. This training is delivered through two integrated components. The first consists weekly combined theoretical classroom-based workforce skills training. The second focuses on workforce development apprenticeship program designed to support a successful transition into careers and skilled trades. This employer-driven model blends hands-on, on-the-job training with structured classroom instruction to develop the skills, knowledge, and abilities needed to meet real workforce demands.

PERSOnAL DEVELOPMENT

At Collegiate Sports Academy, our Personal Development program equips athletes for long-term success beyond the game through targeted mentorship and workshops. We focus on three core pillars: financial literacy (money management and budgeting), social-emotional growth (confidence, leadership, and emotional regulation), and career exploration (identifying opportunities within and beyond sports). Ultimately, we empower athletes to make informed decisions, build resilience, and thrive both personally and professionally.

Leadership development

At Collegiate Sports Academy, students practice servant leadership by serving as team captains and peer mentors. Young adults ages 19 and older receive weekly training to become community mentor-coaches, with select participants joining our Leadership Academy. Through this program, they engage in holistic development—ranging from financial literacy and workforce training to boxing and nutrition—while actively planning and leading weekly neighborhood pop-up camps for youth ages 6–13.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP training

Collegiate Sports Academy embeds Entrepreneurship Training into our curriculum to empower athletes to succeed in business and innovation. Through hands-on projects, mentorship, and real-world examples, athletes learn business fundamentals—including idea development, branding, marketing, and financial basics. The program fosters strategic thinking, teaching athletes how to leverage their personal brands and networks to create sustainable ventures and confidently pursue success both during and after their sports careers.
